As you may recall during our trip to Marburger Farms I fell in love
and purchased this lovely lantern from Acanthus Studios. My plan was to hang
it on our front porch.
Once I returned home I quickly realized it
was not the correct size for the planned area.
Here's another photo to put in perspective of how large the light is.
It's 33 inches high and 15 inches around.
Instead we decided to have our friend Pablo hang the lantern in our dinning room.
Oh no! Now I need to repaint the ceiling!
I immediately dream of all new furniture to complement the light fixture.
Until then we start rearranging. The silver framed mirror is replaced with a
wooden mirror from another room.
We tried the pear from the kitchen.
Finally we moved the twin lamps from the bedroom and a
lithograph from the kitchen. We added a touch of fall decorations with
pinecones and pomegranates. This might work for the time being.
I recovered the bug gut green fabric on the chairs to an off white.
The ever changing before and afters of the dinning room.
The lantern has found a new home for now.
Thanks for stopping by.
OMG! I cannot believe how much it's changed and how good it looks already. I cannot wait to see it in person next time we are in town. SO awesome! You made a great choice!
