I painted the master bedroom walls with the color Gravel from Restoration Hardware.
I replaced the bedding with a Ralph Lauren white comforter purchased from TJ Max.
It's time to update the headboard. At this point, I'm thinking about an inexpensive
DYI project by covering the headboard with fabric.
I throw my shorts over the headboard for inspiration.
I went as far as to research and purchase fabric.
Once I staged the fabric on the headboard, I
decided this wasn't the direction I wanted to take.
Go figure!
Instead we went in the opposite direction and purchased
a sleigh bed from Restoration Hardware.
We replaced the bedding from West Elm.
The TV cabinet was removed.
We recently had the TV hung on the wall.
(next on the to-do list is to spruce up this cabinet)
I installed silver curtain rods and hung white drapes from Pottery Barn.
We dressed the bed up with more pillows. Here's a full view of the drapes.
To get them long enough to hang they dragged the floor.
The only purpose for drapes at this length is to collect cat fur! NO!
So I had them hemmed just high enough to brush the floor.
Remember the before,
the after
Next we will the tour the updates of the the master bathroom.
Thanks for stopping by.
The bed looks soooo pretty! Again, like the kitchen, the difference between the before and after pics is just incredible. Job well done.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the fact that you always take before and after pictures. I really shows how drastic of a change you've made AND you've done it all on your own. I love where your bedroom is at now. I wouldn't change a thing because it's to die for.
